Meet the Jolleys

Clark and Verlyne met when they both started law school at the University of Oklahoma in 1992. Clark was a Del City High and Oklahoma Baptist University graduate and Verlyne was a graduate of Ponca City High School and Oklahoma State University.  They were assigned to the same Section and had all of their first year classes together.  They started dating in January of their third and final year at OU.

Verlyne began working with Clark in 1998 and the two formed a legal partnership, Jolley & Jolley, P.C., in downtown Oklahoma City.  In September, 1999, the two welcomed Lauren Elizabeth Jolley as the newest Jolley in the world at the Edmond Renaissance Hospital.  Almost three years later, Clark Alexander Jolley was born at Mercy hospital.

Lauren is an active ten year old with interests ranging from voice lessons and Tae Kwan Do to climbing trees and correcting her little brother whenever possible.  Alex hasn’t met a stranger yet and is also in Tae Kwan Do and playing outside until his big sister does something irritating to him.

Today, the family remains active at Henderson Hills Baptist Church, where Clark can be found leading worship, playing the piano, conducting the church orchestra as a member of the staff with the Worship & Arts ministry.  Verlyne is working for an Edmond company, Funds for Learning, which assists schools in obtaining E-rate funding from the federal government.  Lauren and Alex both attend Chisholm Elementary, where Lauren is in fourth grade and Alex is in second grade.
